We commonly execute HubSpot implementations & onboardings, website projects and Team as a Service retainers for our clients. Our team is growing, and we are looking for an Account Strategist to take us to the next level.

We need you because you will own why we do this. As a distinct leader in our team-as-a-service offering, both our internal team members and our clients will rely on you to be a strategic and technical expert and advisor.

What You’ll Do

As Evenbound’s Account Strategist, you’ll lead our client relationships. You will act as the  primary client point of contact and champion, taking charge when it comes to finding purpose and value in solving their problems. A typical day will involve multiple client meetings and communications. Impeccable organization and professionalism, coordination of multiple people and projects, and a critical thinking mindset will be essential tools for you to succeed. Your knack for strategy will allow you to pause, zoom out, and look at the bigger picture - understanding strategy, why it’s important, and being able to clearly communicate the value of it to both internal teams and external clients. 

You are also your client’s Go-To reporting and analytics expert. You can pull and manipulate reports and then use the data to tell a story to a non-technical audience. You have a keen ability to look at data and pull themes, trends, and recommendations from your insights.

Your Other Half will be your Program Manager, and together, you will deliver best in class experiences and outcomes, as well as continuous improvement opportunities, to help your clients realize and reach their full potential. Part of this experience for our Account Strategist will include the implementation of sales goals and quota as part of your performance. 

What You’ve Done

You likely come from a digital marketing background and know HubSpot and Inbound Marketing - really well. Both your clients and your internal team will rely on your expertise to create unique Go-To-Market strategies that will serve as the vision Evenbound will use to build solutions for each client. Additionally, you are probably experienced with Marketing Ops and RevOps strategy and skills. Your clients are going to rely on you to be an expert in recommendations and solutions, so it’s critical you can recognize their pain points and can offer solutions. 

You’ve done this before - excelled in a client facing role. You understand how to interact with different communication styles and personalities and have a proven ability to create, maintain, and grow client relationships.

You know how to be a true partner to your colleagues and can work in a very close, professional relationship with others on a daily basis. You know how to articulate strategy and direction clearly, collaborate, brainstorm, and consider multiple perspectives. 

You also have experience in sales. In this role, your clients will rely on you to recommend and create the best strategy to drive their business towards reaching its potential. You know how to talk about upsell, renewal, and sales strategies in a way that is genuine, authentic, and with their best interests in mind. 

In addition to the above, you’ve likely got experience in or can demonstrate the following: 

  • Ability to deliver short-term wins while also building long-term value - this role requires a balance of being able to zoom in and out often and toggle between strategy and execution
  • Impeccable communication skills, including the ability to articulate the fine art of saying ‘no’
  • Familiarity with the ideas and concepts behind lean methodology as a way to optimize teams and resources to create value for our clients
  • Incredible organization and time management skills and a high attention to detail - almost to a fault
  • Technology/software demos, especially utilizing HubSpot solutions
  • Manage client expectations and deliverables for 6-8 accounts

  • Work where you want, when you want. At Evenbound, we believe we work best when we set our own productive schedules. That flexibility extends to where we work, too. While we have an office right in downtown Grand Haven that we love (there's a coffee shop right downstairs!), our team works remotely most of the time. There's no weekly "in the office" quota to meet — we work to get work done, however that works for you
  • Regular team meet-ups. Since the Evenbound team is primarily remote, we work hard to schedule team meet-up opportunities  annually.  From camping to ski trips to industry conferences, we believe that hanging out in person makes our team stronger, helping to build real relationships in a virtual world
