Director of Sales:
The focus of this new position is to build and execute a strategy for new "good fit" client acquisition.

The Evenbound Director of Sales is responsible for authoring and executing the sales strategy to align with our vision and next phase of growth. The three categories of revenue that we sell are Managed Services, Website Projects, and HubSpot Services. This position is designed with a singular focus of finding and acquiring the best "fit" clients for our agency within the three categories at scale. The tactical elements of this position include:

  • Architect a new Strategic Sales Plan for the agency.
  • Managing Sales Team: SDR & Account Executive
  • Empowering and inspiring inside sales.
  • Reporting on results and forecasting.
  • Setting and reaching sales quotas each month.
  • Clearly define product lines and identify new opportunities for revenue.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align marketing and sales.
  • Be a positive influence on the Evenbound team mindset and morale.
  • Participate in sales calls and processes as needed. 

This role has been performed by the agency owner since the agency was started. In order to be successful, this individual will spend time with the owner learning how we arrived at our current position, what worked well, and what didn't. Then they will map a new sales plan designed to take the agency to our next stage of growth.

A clear understanding of modern, technical B2B sales methods such as Inbound Sales,The Challenger Sale, and Gap Selling will be essential to the success of this role.

 

Experience & Education

  • 5 to 7 years of sales experience. 1 to 3 years of sales leadership experience.
  • High-level understanding of the HubSpot platform and technical capabilities.
  • Inbound marketing, inbound sales, HubSpot marketing, and HubSpot sales certifications preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in an agency (or similar) sales setting.
  • Knowledgeable in Marketing Services and HubSpot Services sold by agency.
  • Superior communication skills including: video conference, phone, in-person, and written.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Experience successfully working in a remote environment is preferred.
  • Consideration given to candidates who show a proven track record of results with, or without a 4-year college degree.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to inspire success in others.
  • Alignment with the Evenbound core values.

Compensation

  • Compensation will include an industry standard base salary with commission based on revenue performance.
