The Challenge
Where It Started:
Angstrom came in with three problems that are common in industrial companies reaching a growth inflection point.
- Marketing wasn't generating or converting leads at the rate the business needed.
- Their CRM (Pipedrive) lacked the depth to manage a growing sales organization with any real visibility.
- Existing tools couldn't scale with where the business was headed.
Those original challenges drove the first phase of work: a full HubSpot migration, a demand generation buildout, and the foundation for a growth system that could scale with them.
It worked. Angstrom grew revenue by 350%, expanded their team by 300%, and closed more than 240 deals.
But businesses don't stay still, and neither did the challenges.
What Came Next:
Marketing was generating visibility, not revenue.
LinkedIn was producing impressions, not pipeline. Leadership needed marketing to show up in closed business, not reach metrics.
Sales and marketing were operating independently.
Leadership changes created an opportunity to unify the two teams, but shared reporting, goals, and a shared view of the customer journey weren't yet in place.
The CRM had accumulated years of drift.
Stale opportunities, inconsistent deal stages, and inaccurate forecasting. New team members had no clear process; sales leadership had limited visibility.

Advertising pivot.
Moved budget from LinkedIn to Google Search, targeting buyers actively researching cleanroom solutions.
Content and thought leadership.
A full content audit identified gaps across funnel stages and industries. New blog content, case studies, and a monthly newsletter launched in March to reinforce Angstrom's authority with buyers before they're ready to decide.
CRM transformation.
Rebuilt lifecycle stages, deal stages, and pipeline structure from the ground up. Cleaned out stale opportunities, clarified ownership, and improved forecasting accuracy — giving sales leadership a process the whole team can follow.
Sales and marketing alignment.
Unified the two teams around shared planning, shared reporting, and a defined lead handoff. Both teams now work from the same view of the pipeline.
AI adoption.
Implemented HubSpot's Prospecting Agent to reactivate dormant CRM opportunities and Company Research Agent to surface early buying signals, funding rounds, leadership changes, and expansions, so reps can reach buyers before the formal search starts.
Reporting infrastructure.
Built custom dashboards and reports, giving leadership real-time visibility into revenue projections, pipeline health, and sales performance.
