Paid Media Manager


The Paid Media Manager at Evenbound is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple paid media campaigns spanning various platforms. You're also the primary point of contact for agency clients with paid media services, which means you'll handle reporting, troubleshooting, and campaign adjustments. This position requires that you support the rest of the Evenbound team — assisting team members, providing in-depth direction, and ensuring that tasks are completed quickly and efficiently.

Our Paid Media Manager has a clear understanding of paid media advertising, from Pay Per Click to Social and beyond. You can handle all of these tasks with ease:

  • Keyword research and management
  • Analytics and tracking
  • Campaign implementation
  • Bid and budget management
  • Landing page performance analysis
  • Campaign reporting


You might be our next Paid Media Manager if…

  • You eat, sleep, and breathe data. Numbers and keywords and analytics, oh my! You have a remarkable depth of understanding for everything paid media, and you love bringing sense and technical insight to all of the data chaos.
  • You've got outstanding attention to detail. From budgets to typos to keywords, nothing gets by you.
  • You're an A+ communicator. All those complex data points? You're able to synthesize them into easy-to-understand reports and explanations that your clients get. You're excellent in meetings and on paper, and you're able to communicate and delegate complex tasks to your team.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of digital marketing. Great ad campaigns start with great digital marketing strategy. You get your client's goals, and you know how to create the results they need to meet those goals.


We’d like you to:

  • Have 2-4 years experience in paid media management and client communication
  • Have an advanced understanding of digital marketing strategy and analytics.
  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in certifications or experience.
  • Have a technical mind. This position requires you to understand and interpret complex data points. 
  • Communicate well with clients. This is big. The Paid Media Manager is a key point of communication between Evenbound and clients. Written and verbal communication skills are a must. 
  • Be very organized. You can manage clients, projects, campaign launches, your own time, and your team's time. 
  • Be coachable. We're not into telling people what to do, but if someone offers direction or advice, we'd like you to be able to follow that and apply any feedback you get.

    • Facebook Ads Manager 
    • LinkedIn Ads Manager 
    • Excel/Google Sheets 
    • Google Data Studio 
    • CRM (HubSpot, WordPress, what have you)

    Skills that aren't required, but are a bonus 

    • Graphic design 
    • Canva 
    • HubSpot 
    • Photoshop 
    • InDesign 
    • Figma
    • Video editing software

  • Work where you want, when you want. At Evenbound, we believe we work best when we set our own productive schedules. That flexibility extends to where we work, too. While we have an office right in downtown Grand Haven that we love (there's a coffee shop right downstairs!), our team works remotely most of the time. There's no weekly "in the office" quota to meet — we work to get work done, however that works for you.
  • Regular team meet-ups. Since the Evenbound team is primarily remote, we work hard to schedule team meet-up opportunities every few months. From camping to ski trips to industry conferences, we believe that hanging out in person makes our team stronger, helping to build real relationships in a virtual world.
